Dear Bozeman Commissioners,
I would like to reach out to you imploring you to decline to change the zoning laws for the 16 acre parcel near
Bridger Canyon.
People live in and love Gallatin Valley for its rurality, farm land, mountain views, and the freedom these things
bring. Creating six story buildings amongst multi-acre parcels up against the mountains will certainly diminish this
feeling - especially at the mount of such an important area as Bridger Canyon. Six story structures will block out the
views of the mountains that are an icon of this place we call home.
While there is a housing crisis in Bozeman, this is certainly not the way to fix it. Let’s put our heads together as a
community and come up with something that works.
