To Bozeman City Commissioners:
Please carefully review this proposal. After educating myself and learning what the
developer wants (changing the zoning and mega buildings), it is just not appropriate. For
one thing, I was very unimpressed with the lack of knowledge expressed about the
importance of this lively wildlife corridor. Part of the mission of nearby Story Mill Park (
across the Bridger Drive) was to preserve the corridor and to conserve aspects of the
Bridger Creek and wetlands area. There is enough development going on as it is that will
affect this. Than there is the safety issues of additional traffic and the BNSF trains blocking
the tracks. The list goes on. This particular developer has already created large apartment
buildings downtown that have changed the character of downtown and it’s immediate
neighbors.
Please vote NO as the Zoning Board suggested.
