Commissioners:
I am writing to ask that you deny the Canyon Gate proposal. This is yet
another example of the Bozeman building frenzy that is permanently
changing the landscape of Bozeman. 16 acres of high density
development right at the mouth of Bridger Canyon does not seem wise.
There are wildlife, traffic and safely issues for sure but for me the big
picture is development without regard to our overall water supply.
Bozeman is likely to suffer drought at times and I do not believe that the
water available in this region can support continued development at
its current pace. I am sure that many, many residents of Bozeman feel
the same way. At some point you need to say no. This is a good place to
start.
