Dear Commissioners:
You have the best interests of Bozeman in your hearts. You take seriously the fact that you are the representatives of
the citizens of Bozeman. The citizens are asking you to decline a density change for the mouth of Bridger Canyon,
that would forever change the nature of the canyon, and endanger the citizens of that area, plus all those who cross
the railroad tracks. Visually, the mouth of the canyon is a low horizontal, allowing us to enjoy the dignity of the
Bridgers. Five-story buildings would destroy that ambiance. Skiers, returning from Bridger Bowl, as well as
additional citizens, would put a new level of pressure on traffic flow across the tracks on Rouse.
There are other more appropriate places for higher-density areas. Protect the safety and aesthetics of our home.
Respectfully submitted,
Jane Hawks
