Dear Bozeman City Commissioners,
I was unable to attend Tuesday night's meeting regarding the Canyon Gate development but would like to
comment now if possible and urgently request that the development be denied in its current form.
The high density plan will result in too much traffic congestion. There are already enough retail and other
services along Rouse ave; we do not need further commercial space in this location.
I would like to see the plot annexed into the city but developed in a more appropriate manner similar to
how Legends II was done - low density single family housing with ample park and trail space. I'd like to see
the existing tree stands preserved as sanctuary for wildlife and perhaps create trails around and through
the corridor similar to how trails have been implemented along Bridger Creek in Legends II.
