Hello, I’m emailing because I will be unable to attend and provide public comment at Wednesday’sSustainability Board hearing, but I would like to provide the following comments: 1.) The Sustainability Board should pass a resolution that states a tax or ban on single useplastics in Bozeman is necessary for the City to become sustainable. The resolution shouldindicate it will begin drafting a tax or ban on single use plastics when the statewide legislation (7-1-121, MCA) that prohibits local regulation is rescinded oroverturned. 2.) The Sustainability Board should require all new housing developments to bewalkable/bikable to a grocery store. 3.) The Sustainability Board should require all new housing developments to create enoughenergy via solar/wind to completely offset all energy consumption, either by requiring allhouses to have solar panels/wind, or by requiring community solar/wind.
