Dear Commissioners,
I would hope that any proposal to tear down the original Bzm Deaconess Hospital beapproached with great caution. Andy Hollaran / Homebase has built very generic structures
(and with unpleasant brick on the Mendenhall ones). Why are we submitting to a Hollarizationof Bozeman ? It's like the Anaconda Copper Company biting off more and more of Bozeman
and chewing through historic neighborhoods which can never be recovered. I do think that awalkable and expanded downtown retail area is not a bad thing for Bozeman, but done at the
cost of historic buildings and with yet more build-it-and-they will come condos for high-endpart-time occupants or rent-it-out by the week investors is too much.
