I’d first like to thank all those involved for their time and efforts for all of the hard work that it takes to complete these meetings. I am in support of the Canyon Gate and frankly any other options that allow for more densedevelopment and I understand there is a component of this project that has some affordable housing units. I also feel that more single family residences that will be well over $1millionare not the right choice for this area. There are plenty of those in surrounding areas. This project has a number of different elements that I think will have a positive effect in the long term. I know it is hard to see that when you are nearby these changes. I actually built ahome in Legends several years ago that in deed backs up the this field. I knew many years ago that this was a likely probability when I built the home. I also know that growth is hard. Butthis is where we all live, and it is necessary to look to the future for the betterment of our community as a whole. This should not just be a forum in which people complain about what is happening next totheir property. Please consider approval as weak need more housing units of ALL kinds and price points for our ever-growing community! As a side note. There were only 21housing units available in the City Limits as of yesterday. Only one of which is under $549,000. This project proposes many that will be less than that…AND many that will be over! Thank you again for your efforts in these difficult decisions. Jason Basye503 Clifden Ave, Bozeman, MT 59718 406-581-7653
