Dear Commissioners,
I just graduated MSU with a civil engineering degree and plan to stay in Bozeman even
though I may not have the opportunity to purchase a home for several years with thecurrent market. Though housing is extremely difficult, I do not believe the proposed zoning
for Canyon Gate will provide affordable housing.
I believe R3 is the proper zoning for this piece of land taking into consideration thesurrounding neighborhoods. There is no need to have 4-5 story buildings and commercial
space at the mouth of the canyon!
I also listened to the zoning meeting and they voted NO. This should way heavily on yourdecision. During that meeting, 11 of the 12 citizens that called in favor of this project work for
House Base without disclosing this fact. That is unacceptable and deceiving. Please vote NO!
