Dear City Commission Members,
We are writing to express our opposition to the proposed Canyon Gate development at the entrance to Bridger
Canyon. This old farmstead shouldn’t become more urban sprawl simply because the new owners desire to
maximize its profitability. This is a residential area. Bozeman needs more affordable housing, not more high-end
condos for the rich to “lock and leave” while the locals who work in our businesses get pushed out of the housing
market.
Not to forget the obvious traffic and safety concerns; we’d also hate to lose the friendly neighborhood vibe we have
here.
Please vote a resounding NO to letting this camel’s nose into our tent that would enable commercial interests to turn
Bridger Canyon into the eyesore that is the road to Big Sky.
