As property owners residing in the Legends Phase I development, we are writing to let you know that although we support thoughtful development, the current development zoning designations requested for the Canyon Gate development of R-5, REMU and B2M for approximately 15 acres of this development do not alignment with community housing needs. The lack of R3 zoning is a prime factor that is pricing our local workforce out of Bozeman. Consequently, we believe the City Commission should have strong consideration for the majority of this parcel to be zoned for R-3 development. We are looking forward to the City Commission providing a framework for thoughtful development of the 24 acre parcel located at the corner of Bridger and Story Mill.
