I had plenty of time so I'd arrive 10 minutes early. Unfortunately I was stopped at the Oak St. railroad crossing by a double long train! It wasmoving at normal speed at first but began to slow and finally stopped. I made a u-turn and went to the Griffin St. crossing only to see the end of the train north of that crossing! In theend I was 20 minutes late and was required to reschedule my appointment. If I had been on the way to the hospital with a serious illness such as a heart attack or stroke, I would not be able toget there on time. If a house on the north side of the tracks needed emergency services for fire or an ambulance, they'd be out of luck. The proposal to develop the property on the corner of Story Mill and Bridger Drive puts allwho live on the north side of town at risk. You are discriminating against us and will be denying us access to emergency services. You are placing local children at risk by the prospectof traffic diverting to quiet streets. The proposed buildings will obstruct views of the Bridgers, the M, the Spanish Peaks and the Tobacco Roots. That area is home to myriad wildlife including but not limited to turkeys, deer, black bears andmoose. It is a vital wildlife habitat and an active wildlife corridor. Area subdivisions have been planned to allow for this. Injecting massive, high density development into the areawould decimate the character of the district. High density, multi-story buildings are not in harmony with this area. There is already a high density development across the street andmore planned for the Stockyards. Cash in lieu of open space and parks is unacceptable. The proposed buildings are not family housing but luxury condos and commercial space. EastMain has been developed and has plenty of commercial space vacant and available for rent. Please do not accept this proposal. Respectfully, Diane Dietsch
