22.ALL TREE TRUNKS TO BE LOCATED 10' MINIMUM FROM
UTILITY LINES INCLUDING WATER, HYDRANTS, AND SEWER
SERVICE. TREES USED FOR PLANTING UNDER UTILITY LINES
SHALL MEET CITY OF BOZEMAN STREET TREE GUIDELINES.
IRRIGATION GENERAL NOTES:
1.PERMANENT UNDERGROUND IRRIGATION SYSTEM SHALL BE
INSTALLED AT TIME OF LANDSCAPE INSTALLATION.
IRRIGATION SHALL BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ALL
STATE AND LOCAL CODES AND ORDINANCES.
2.ALL IRRIGATION INFORMATION HERE IS CONCEPTUAL.
IRRIGATION SYSTEM TO BE DESIGN/BUILD BY A
PROFESSIONAL IRRIGATION CONTRACTOR THAT MEETS
BOZEMAN WATER CONSERVATION DIVISION'S GUIDELINES
AND REQUIREMENTS.
3.IRRIGATION CONNECTION TO BE CONNECTED TO WATER
MAIN LINE; FINAL LOCATION TO BE LOCATED IN FIELD.
4.ALL NEW PLANT MATERIAL SHALL BE IRRIGATED WITH
EXISTING DOMESTIC IRRIGATION SYSTEM.
4.1.PERENNIALS, SHRUBS, AND TREES TO BE IRRIGATED
USING LOW-FLOW DRIP IRRIGATION THAT DIRECTLY
TARGETS THE ROOTS. TURF AREAS TO BE WATERED BY
WATER-EFFICIENT MATCH-PRECIPITATION RATE ROTORS
AND SPRAY HEADS.
4.2.IRRIGATION SYSTEM SHALL BE INSTALLED IN STRICT
ACCORDANCE WITH ALL PERTINENT CODES AND
REGULATIONS, THE REFERENCED STANDARDS, AND THE
MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDATIONS.
4.3.IRRIGATION SYSTEM SPRINKLER HEADS TO BE ADJUSTED
AFTER INSTALLATION TO THROW THE PROPER DISTANCE
AND DIRECTION TO IN ORDER TO MINIMIZE
WATER-WASTE VIA RUNOFF AND ACHIEVE HEAD-TO-HEAD
COVERAGE.
4.4.ZONES TO BE DESIGNED WITH REGARD TO PLANT
MATERIAL AND WIND AND SUN EXPOSURE TO ENSURE
PROPER PLANT REQUIRED WATER COVERAGE.
5.A BACKFLOW PREVENTER SHALL BE PROFESSIONALLY
INSTALLED AS PER THE CITY OF BOZEMAN REQUIREMENTS.
6.A PRESSURE RELEASE VALVE/REGULATOR MAY BE NEEDED
DEPENDING ON THE PSI AT POINT OF CONNECTION (POC).
7.IRRIGATION DESIGN ASSUMES 25-28GPM FROM WATER
SOURCE.
8.CARE SHALL BE TAKEN TO ENSURE IRRIGATION SYSTEM IS
INSTALLED PROPERLY TO MINIMIZE/ELIMINATE WATER WASTE
DUE TO OVER SPRAY ONTO WALKS AND PARKING LOTS.
9.IRRIGATION CONTRACTOR SHALL INSTALL A RAIN/FREEZE
SENSOR THAT WILL AUTOMATICALLY TURN OFF THE SYSTEM
DURING RAIN/FREEZE EVENTS.
10.WEATHER-BASED CONTROLLER SHALL BE USED THAT CAN
AUTOMATICALLY ADJUST WATERING SCHEDULE ACCORDING
TO LOCAL WEATHER EVENTS.
11.OVERHEAD SPRINKLER HEADS TO BE INSTALLED 2-4" FROM
ANY PAVED SURFACE TO MINIMIZE POTENTIAL DAMAGE
