Hello,
I'm writing in opposition to the Canyon Gate Development as proposed. Putting a development of that
scale in what is obviously a transition area is unacceptable and poorly thought out. None of the new
developments whether on the north edge of town off Main or in this area do anything to address the
affordable housing issue in Bozeman. Regardless of what the developers say, they will build to the
highest, most profitable market and that is absentee 2nd or 3rd homeowners at prices the actual citizens
can't afford. Not to mention the obvious problem with access due to the tracks cutting it off from the rest
of the city and it's services.
