I understand the proposed land will and should be developed, but the proposed cash in lieu ofgreen space is absolutely unacceptable for a project of this scale. It is simply not ok for the
developer to skirt the parkland issue, to make their project pencil. Perhaps they paid too muchfor the land? That's not our problem. Greenspace is crucial for a healthy development.
Homebase makes the assumption that the residents of Canyon Gate will spill over intoLegends Greenspace and trails systems, all while not contributing a penny for its upkeep.
Absolute NO on CASH IN LIEU for Canyon Gate. Also, there needs to be more a a gradualtransition zone from the Legends R-1 to to the BLOCK M style R-3 as currently proposed. R-
5 is only appropriate along Bridger Canyon and Story Mill.
Do the right thing commissioners
