Having a daycare next door has impacted my household. My first concern is how a business was able to open
without the proper licensing that other businesses are required to do. We were not notified that there was going to
be a daycare run out of the house. For example, when the neighbors wanted to have chickens on their property, they
were required to check with the adjoining neighbors. Another issue is the traffic that occurs during pick up and drop
off times. We were originally told that the parents would use the driveway at the daycare which can handle five cars
and that is not happening as cars are parked on both side of the street at those times. There have multiple times the
parents are using my driveway to turn around and again we were told that would not happen. I almost had an
accident when I was backing up in my driveway and a parent pulled into my driveway to turn around. I then
watched them park in front of the daycare.
