As a concerned neighbor living at 2118 Highland Court my wife and I were greatly surprised to learn of the sudden
opening of a new daycare facility within our residential neighborhood. Previous owner left Bozeman suddenly and
with no notice to the public like a notice of intended business opening we suddenly had a new business in our area.
A business should as a minimum be licensed for the location it is operating in not a prior location and the structure
inspected for safety and code standards being met prior to opening. This home has a basement with no egress
windows and with up to 12 children would be hard pressed not to use the basement once winter starts. We do not
believe a business should open without all inspections, licenses and insurance documents reflecting the proper
address. Another seasonal issue relates to this business is located on a curve within the subdivision that is shaded all
winter and results in extremely icy road surfaces and almost impassible after snow storms. Children being dropped
off and picked up twice daily is unsafe at that location.
