The City Commission should overturn the City’s decision to issue business license 21-69197 and invalidate
Administrative Rule 2021-01 as both were improperly issued.
Reasons for this overturn:
-Traffic issues.
-Distracted drivers in a hurry for pick up and drop off of children.
-Lack of parking for a commercial business.
-Drivers using neighbors driveways to turn around
-Parents using neighbors yards to stage, load and unload children for pickup and dropoff of daycare.
-Children from the daycare running in front of other daycare traffic and nearly being hit.
-Near car accidents between parents in front of the daycare / neighbors homes due to lack of parking for a
commercial business.
-Litter being left in neighbors yards.
-No Sidewalks & safety issues for neighborhood residents who walk, run, bike etc..
-Snow conditions create hazardous conditions in our neighborhood without the additional traffic of a
commerical business.
-Decrease in property values
