Dear City Commissioners:
I am writing in regards to rezoning application #21337 Canyon Gate Development.
This proposal jumps into an extremely different development than the current
atmosphere in the Northeast area of Bozeman. Such extremes need to have careful
consideration for traffic, housing, and of course all of the great things our area offers,
including parks, wildlife, and awesome water from Bridger and Bozeman Creek.
I live in the Bridger Creek Subdivision and have witnessed the increased traffic
already, especially on a popular ski day, a long delay from trains, and the 5 o'clock
rush hour on Griffin, Oak, and Rouse streets. With no direct access to the freeway oneither Rouse or L/Wallace street, I feel congestion could become significant with such
high density as requested in Canyon Gates proposal.
Please do not allow B-2M, REMU, and R5 requests for the area at Story Mill and Bridger
Canyon Road.
