TRAFFIC IMPACT SUMMARY
This traffic impact summary provides an overview for the proposed Park View Crossing
Major Subdivision, located in the City of Bozeman, Gallatin County, Montana. This
information presented is intended to evaluate the safety of the surrounding area and
existing infrastructure with the addition of the proposed development.
The proposed Park View Crossing Major Subdivision is located in at the intersection of
Tschache Lane and Vaquero Parkway on the existing Lot 4 of Minor Subdivision 400,
generally located within the Northeast ¼ of Section 3, Township 2 South, Range 5
East, P.M.M., Gallatin County, Montana.
The forty-four (44) residential lots within the development are estimated to generate
approximately 488 average weekday trips with 36 weekday AM peak hour (9 entering,
27 exiting) and 46 PM peak hour trips (29 entering, 17 exiting). Access to the
development would be via the newly constructed “loop” road: a continuation of
Tschache Lane to the Regional Park boundary, then looping north to an additional
existing intersection with Vaquero Parkway. This traffic can then head north or south
on Vaquero Parkway, or take Tschache Lane east to Davis Lane.
It is not anticipated that the development will have significant impacts beyond the
existing primary access points, therefore no upgrades are proposed at this time for any
nearby intersections, and the new intersections with Vaquero Parkway have already
been permitted through the City of Bozeman.
