The Bozeman City Commission notifies the citizens of the City of Bozeman that applications for
empaneling of the Community Development Board, Economic Vitality Board, Sustainability Board,
Transportation Board, and Urban Parks and Forestry Board. Perspective applicants are encouraged to
review the enabling legislation that specifically identifies the individual board purpose, focus areas,
duties, powers, and member composition. Applicants are also encouraged to review the established
recruitment and selection, standards for communication, and norms of behavior for boards.
Copies of the following resolutions are available on the Citizen Advisory Board Page
(www.bozeman.net/boards) or from the Clerk's Office by request. A tentative schedule for the first
meetings in December is also available.

• Resolution 5327—Sustainability Board
• Resolution 5328—Urban Parks and Forestry Board
• Resolution 5329—Economic Vitality Board

Applications will be open from September 7 through September 30, 2021. After the application period
has closed, applications will be directed to the assigned interview panel for screening and scheduling of
interviews. Interviews are to take place in October with appointments to occur in November.
Per Resolution 5323, "[d]uring the recruitment process, the City will focus on diversity, equity, and
inclusion, and will actively work to achieve membership that reflects, at the least, the demographics of
our community— as outlined in, but not limited to the gaps analysis and equity indictors report and
available census data—across all board membership."
