Hello. I live on Lasso Avenue in Bozeman, which is in the Baxter Meadows Subdivision. My son attends
Meadowlark elementary. Every morning, I encounter the intersection of Flanders Mill and Oak. This
intersection is a serious hazard. Traffic moving on Oak is heavy and fast, coming from both the east and the
west (where the roundabout keeps traffic pretty consistently flowing.) Waiting on Flander's Mill can
sometimes take several minutes in order to safely continue heading north or south through the
intersection. This is difficult, even when the roads are clear and dry. During the winter season, this will be
so very hazardous, I honestly think I will need to find a detour to keep me and my children safe. Please do
something about this intersection, and please, when you have other construction initiatives, do not route
any additional traffic to the intersection of Oak and Flanders Mill. It is already a serious hazard!
