I’m writing in regards to the intersection of Flanders mill and Oak as well as the Intersection of Flanders mill
and Baxter. As a parent to a GHS high schooler and a student at CJMS I’m frankly appalled at the lack of
thought into these intersection next to both schools. I’ve seen numerous accidents and have frankly almost
seen numerous kids almost hit trying to cross these busy roads. Cars are speeding double what they should
with no regard to students! The intersection at Flanders and Oak is just unbearable with new drivers and
massive amounts of cars trying to cross 4 lanes and no turn lanes as well. Please for all our sakes let’s not
loose a life to this stupidity! Put in flashing pedestrian walkways on our side of town and fix the
intersections with lights or a round about.
