To Whom It May Concern:
I wrote a letter of concern to the department of transportation last year. I am writing again. Please please
please make improving the intersection at Oak St and Flanders Mill a priorty. It was dangerous and sketchy
at best last year with half capacity. Now with all grades in session and in session every day its worse. I have
a new driver in my household and she is so anxious about how to proceed through this intersection she
doesn't want to drive. There are many blindspots, people speeding, and alot of folks who don't know who
to yield to. Who has the right of way. Add ice and snow to this equation and its even worse. Maybe even
consider a one way option to direct cars up to the round about and round would be safer than nothing at
all. If you don't drive through here, I highly recommend commuting through here for a few weeks at peak
school hours to experience it for yourself.
Also, can we pleaseeeeeee get a green arrow at Oak and Ferguson. So many people turn left when it isn't
safe just to get through the light. I don't understand why a green arrow can't be turned on to allow the first
10 cars in line through before going to flashing yellow.
Come on Bozeman. We can do this! Help keep our young and old drivers safe and in one peice.
