The intersection at Gallatin High School- Flanders Mill and Oak is extremely dangerous. After one or two
attempts, I abandoned trying to cross all lanes North/South. I will only make a left turn from Oak to
Flanders Mill and even that takes some very careful maneuvering as others are turning left from the other
direction. I have witnessed one car accident and have come upon the scene of two others since the school
year began. The number of 'new' drivers in the area is incredibly high as are the pedestrians and bike riders-
I can see the nervousness in these students who try to ride/walk across the intersection. This intersection
needs a traffic light before someone is seriously injured or killed. Please prioritize this for our community
safety.
