My name is John Shankland and I live at 314 North Grand Avenue directly across the alley from the proposed Ives
development that seems to have already started.
I just read a submittal from the architecture department at MSU about the possible affect to our passive solar due to
the height of the proposed building. I strongly recommend there be a shadow study performed before final approval.
Just my home alone, in the Historical Conservation Overlay District, will loose hours of morning sun due to the size
of the development.
