My concerns follow:
1. This project is large and will strain water, sewar and parking resources. I'm not saying
they are insurmountable, but I think all are potential problems requiring addressing
prior to approval, not after, and certainly not after construction begins.
2. It is beyond my experience and expertise to comment on just how the water and sewar
issues need to be addressed, but parking issues during construction and later by new
tenants as the project is absorbed is usually easily solved by permit only parking only on
streets within the impact zone of a large new project. Three to four blocks seem to be a
norm for excluding construction vehicles, and a similar distance seems necessary for
protecting neighborhoods after development that includes commercial/business as well
as residential.
On a closing note, please make sure I receive mail on goings on in my neighborhood; I didn't
get notice of the hearing noted on your yard sign or the deadline for comments. Thomas F.
