Dear City Clerk, Please find enclosed signed protest letters from the owners of 42 of the 60 of the lots within 150 feet of the Canyon Gate, Application #21337 application for annexation and zoning, and ZMA amendment. This represents 70%of the property owners within 150 of the rezoning request. For what it's worth, I have augmented these letters with an additional 11 signed letters from property owners within 200 feet of the parcel. As required, these letters all include the names of the property owners, the physical address of the property, as well as the legal description of the property. It is my understanding that your receipt of these letters will require the City Commission to approve any changes to the zoning on this request by a 4 out of 5 supermajority when the proposal comes before them for a vote.
