I have concerns about the intersection at Flanders Mill and Oak Streets. When traveling west on Oak and
attempting to make a left turn onto Flanders Mill St, it is difficult to see oncoming traffic. It is also very
difficult to see any pedestrians from any direction. I understand the plan is for Oak to become a main
corridor and that high speeds are needed to keep traffic moving. This will only make the intersection more
dangerous. Considering how close this intersection is to Gallatin High School and the dog park, it is only a
matter of time before there is a serious accident. Something must be done to minimize the danger for
pedestrians and drivers.
