The City of Bozeman does a lot of things well--which certainly has drawn a lot of people to our community--
but one area of incompetency that is evident is the street planning and management of lights. When the
intersection at Flanders Mill and Oak was initially established, there was no question in our minds that
surely a light was to be installed. When that didn't happen and the school opened shortly after, I believe we
witnessed one of the most disappointing oversights in Bozeman's recent history. If prioritizing our children's
safety and welfare is not our highest priority, then we need to reprioritize. Please escalate light installation
at this intersection to utmost priority.
