RE: Exempt Well Determination for Town and Country at Ferguson Farm
Dear Kerri:
I am requesting approval for (1) one exempt well for the Town and Country at Ferguson Farms in Gallatin
County, Montana. The project is located in the Ferguson Farms Subdivision, S10, TO2 S, RO5 E, Block 5, Lots
1-4. City of Bozeman, Gallatin County, MT.
Irrigation Water Demands
The sum of the landscaped areas is .85 acres. The annual volume of water required to irrigate this acreage is
based on the following assumed irrigation demands:
BLVD Lawn with H.E. sprays: 100,109 gallons / year. (.31 acre feet)
Native Seed with Rotary spray irrigation: 200,995 gallons/ (.62 acre feet)
99 Trees with H.E. bubblers: 29,403 gallons / year. (0.09 acre feet)
270 Shrubs with H.E. bubblers: 36,450 gallons / year. (0.11 acre feet)
132 Perennials with drip irrigation: 18,288 gallons / year. (.06 acre feet)
Total Use: 1.14 acre feet per year

Bozeman Community Development office.
