Good day.
I write this in protest of the Growth Policy and Zone Map Amendments proposed by
Mountains Walking Brewery.
Many of the respondents in favor of the proposed amendments reside outside of the North EastNeighborhood and are sheltered from the impacts of increased commercial (or residential, as
proposed) activity.
Parking in the surrounding neighborhood is already congested and increasing the businessfootprint and adding more dense housing will add to the bottleneck, making it more dangerous
for pedestrians, cyclists, and neighborhood children at play.
This is an encroachment on existing residential structures and long-time Bozeman residents. Itwill negatively impact the character of the historic neighborhood and the increased congestion
will lead to a decline in the family-friendly atmosphere of the area.
I encourage members of the City Commission to deny this proposal.
