The intersection at Flanders Mill and Oak is so dangerous. Every day I drive it twice, most days four times,
and I can never believe that the CIty has not seen this liability and done something about it. It's the main
way to Gallatin High, and although traffic flow will be slightly improved when Cottonwood to Baxter is
complete, it will still be the main access from West-bound drivers. Knowing that first, it's a high population
area, and second, the vast majority of drivers have to turn left to enter the high school, and third, that
there are many teenaged drivers frequenting this intersection should make the CIty recognize this as a
priority. It's willful ignorance if the CIty can't figure out how to handle this as soon as possible. Even a
temporary light, like used to be placed by Costco, would be a better fix than ignoring it. It's ridiculously
dangerous.
