PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE redesign the busy intersection at Oak Street and Flanders Mill as soon as possible.
Our family has personally seen 4 accidents, and probably 10 near-accidents, at this intersection since the
beginning of the 2021 school year. The flow and direction of traffic is *not* clear. Drivers are confused and
do not follow basic traffic rules about turning, yielding, passing etc. And, then you factor in pedestrians,
bicyclists, and young, inexperienced drivers near the high school and I fear it's only a matter of time before
someone is seriously injured or killed at this intersection.
