The intersection at Flanders Mill and Oak Street next to the new Gallatin high is an absolute disaster. Trying
to cross four lanes especially when you throw in brand new drivers is a recipe for disaster. There needs to
be a light and actual turn lanes and signals.
Please do not make it an intersection like you have at Ferguson and Oak which is also a disaster as there is
no turn lane for people trying to turn north or south onto Ferguson. This causes a back up and people
zooming around in the other lanes and I’ve almost seen fatal car accidents there as well.
Lights, turn signals and turn lanes at both those intersections would improve traffic flow and make it a lot
safer when you’re dealing with brand new drivers and pedestrians! Thank you
