The intersection of Oak St and Flanders Mill Rd feels so dangerous to me that I avoid it completely. To
begin, different drivers on oak have different opinions of how to wait to turn left. The intersection of Oak
and Ferguson is also problematic because of confusion over how to turn left. Back to Flanders: crossing Oak
is made more challenging by the poles for the power lines, which make it difficult to judge the speed and
distance of vehicles on Oak. I realized these issues the first time I used the intersection; and the
intersection was closed because of an accident the next day. I was shocked this intersection wasn’t made a
roundabout or at least an intersection with a street light.
