I purchased a townhouse in this area in 2014, because it was a quiet area with many walking paths. Since 2014, the
density has increased dramatically with residential infill and will increase again with the Story Mill Park housing
development. This development is a very bad idea for many reasons. Tall structures do not belong in a quiet
neighborhood, blocking scenic views and crowding streets with traffic. There are already delays at the Story Mill
intersection as skiers leave the area. More delays when trains come through. Wildlife corridors would be interrupted
by development. It isn’t a place for commercial either. This is a residential area. Many people with dogs and
children walk in this area, increased congestion and traffic pose risks that are unacceptable.
I do not support this proposal at all!
There are many other sites where this would be appropriate, the entrance to the canyon isn’t one.
