I am 150 feet from theedge of the reannexation.I am filing a formal protest against this "reannexation."The 5 story building will be directly behind me and the other one will be to the west of my house.Horrible.We do not need so many people all hitting Bridger Drive and Story Mill every morning. The traffic onBridger Drive is terrible right now. Add in the 67 new homes being built by the park and you have adisaster in the making. How are you going to handle that???Let's talk about the trains. The other morning the train was stopped -blocking North Rouse. This was at8 am on a week day. Think about that with all these new homes—not counting two 5 story buildings.Have you thought about a fire and all the train tracks across the roads blocked??? How aboutambulances, or the police trying to get through????Now let's talk about the water. When we first moved in—we would get flooded in our basement aboutevery 3 or 4 years. !t would be from ground water coming up. In the last 10 years—due to the buildingbehind us and to the east—we aren't having this problem. I wonder why?? Could it be that the aquiferis being lowered by all the houses?? This is a huge problem for everyone who lives out here.Next problem, the wildlife. Deer, bear, moose (yes, I had a bull moose in my front yard last November2020.) ,wild turkeys, even mountain lions! You are destroying their habitat. They will be pushed out.Lastly, why do we need two 5 story buildings in a residential area? Talk about ruining the view! Andright behind my property!! ! People come to Bozeman for the views, the Big Sky country—notapartment buildings.I truly do not understand why this is being reannexed. The value of my property will go down and theproperty taxes will go up!!!!!!!!!!I thought the commissioners are to represent the people of this city and county.You are destroying a beautiful area in this town for what????
