Re: HomeBase application for Story Mill and Bridger; CANYON GATE ANNX AND ZMAPlanning File Number: 21-337
Our residential neighborhood along Bridger Drive has been in place since the 1950’s. Wehave owned our home at 1413 Bridger Drive for over 47 years, and this proposed development
would fundamentally change our neighborhood, degrading the longstanding residential andnatural values.
Low density residential housing is most appropriate for new construction.
We object to the following:
Noise of high density developmentDecrease in security associated with high density development
Excessive traffic and congestion – we have trouble exiting our driveway.Loss of privacy of high density development
Loss of viewsContinuous noise of construction
Degraded water qualityLimited water availability
Proposed open space is not adequate.
We oppose application to pay cash in lieu of open space requirements.
We do not need commercial development.
The request would be a serious departure from existing use.
