We are writing because we do not want to see the type of development Homebase is proposing to do at the northeastcorner of Bridger Drive by Story Mill. We live a few blocks away on Par Court so we would be directly affected bythis development. We think it is too large for this neighborhood. We can’t imagine the extra traffic and congestionthis development would bring. We are also concerned about the wildlife that use the corridor between the StoryHills and Bridge Creek. Traffic has already been getting worse just due to the growth that has been going on the lastfew years. An under/overpass to avoid the trains that seem to roll through about every hour should be a priority butwe don’t see it ever happening. The noise in this neighborhood is already bad thanks to the interstate, train andairplane traffic. Add normal street traffic, construction noise and lawnmower/leafblower noise and, if you shouldever visit our street, you will find it is impossible to find quiet anytime day or night. The Homebase developmentwill only make this situation worse. Are we doomed to crazy, unrestricted growth? We hope not.
