The proposed development for Canyon Gate is in direct opposition of the city and communitydevelopment objectives. The proposed zoning will not provide the density of housing that the
city and likeminded constituents are aiming for in order to reduce urban sprawl, theluxury condos will in fact have the opposite effect of exacerbating this ever increasing
challenge of providing affordable housing to the families that will actually live in Bozemanand contribute.
Next to no open space is allocated or being contributed and in fact they are only aiming topiggy back on and stress the existing open space and trail system that the Legends and
adjoining HOA's pay for, not Home Base. This also an active wildlife corridor that will be dramatically negatively impacted by this
inappropriate development in this location.
