Hi,
1. I noticed that the public notice signs in the field area facing both Bridger Dr. and Story Mill Rd. cannot be seenwhen I am in my car at that intersection looking for them.
Is it "public notice", if these signs are placed so that the public will NOT notice them?
2. This area is not suited for high density development for several reasons:*homes are going in a ross the street at the old stockyard, also next to Story Mill Park, and we don't yet know theimpact on traffic and the wildlife that depends on crossing Bridger Drive;*This area has had multiple developments the Legends, Creekside and the HOA's along Bridger Creek which hasalready impacted the wildlife corridor along Bridger Creek, where we have moose, bear, many deer, coyotes andother wildlife.*The city just redid the intersection at Bridger and Story Mill. If such a high density development was truly in the"strategic plan" it would have been logical to create a traffic circle and possibly pedestrian or wildlife underpass.*It is very difficult to cross the road during the hours ski traffic is going to or returning from Bridger ski hill.
I do think affordable residential apartments are needed and make sense as we lost the affordable trailer home parkthat used to be in this neighborhood.
We also need to consider and prioritize the needs of wildlife in this area.
