HomeMy WebLinkAbout34_ACHotelOff-SiteParkingPlan_101820213 MSP | NORTH CENTRAL PROJECT DESIGN AC HOTEL OFF-SITE PARKING PLAN AC HOTEL THE HENRY PHASE 1: Existing Conditions: Currently, the AC Hotel has an off-site parking agreement with Block 4 to accommodate the required 80 parking spaces. In addition, the Medical Arts building is about 67% occupied and has adequate parking on site. PHASE 2: The proposed demolition of the Mountain View Care Center (DEM+CCOA App no. 21-311), issuance of the Special Temporary Use Permit (STUP App no. 21-325) and the construction of a temporary parking lot for 80 spaces will accommodate the off-site parking requirements for the AC Hotel. The Mountain View East temporary parking lot meets all City of Bozeman requirements according to the plan submitted in the STUP Application. Prior to building permit issuance for The Henry (Site Plan App no. 21-231), the Mountain View East temp parking lot construction will need to be complete and operating as a shared parking use. See the Parking and Mobility Plan included in the Design Guidelines of this MSP application for a breakdown of these parking requirements and how they are fulfilled through a shared use analysis. PHASE 3: Once The Ives (Site Plan App no. 21-165) building construction is completed, the AC Hotel off-site parking will return to this site housed in the new structured parking garage. 205 N Tracy Ave| Mountain View East Mountain View Care Center DEM + CCOA Application - Application No. 21-311 STUP Application, Special Temporary Use Permit - Application No. 21-325 Utilizing a shared use agreement, the temporary parking lot will include 80 spaces to accommodate the required off-site parking for the AC Hotel and the Medical Arts parking replacing the spaces displaced following the start of construction at The Henry. The temporary parking lot will remain until The Ives (Block 4) is completed and until such time that occupancy within Medical Arts no longer requires these off-site spaces.
