Ross – As we committed to yesterday our team has prepared a document indicating a list of outstanding entitlement
items for each North Central project application including the MSP and individual SP submittals, the first attachment of
this list. Any items in the list that we are providing an immediate response on have also been included in the
attachments and indicated accordingly in the list. We believe it is clear from this list that the outstanding items are all
minor and should not keep us from taking each application besides One 11-2.0 to the DRB and initiating the Noticing
process for all projects. We understand this is a decision that needs input form your team, but we hope you can
prioritize this review and give us feedback on anything else that is needed.

Andy,
The engineering comments received on September 8, 2021 are requesting the information/data that the engineering
department needs to approve the deviation request; it is not denying the deviation request or requiring that you move
the proposed access location or redesign the project. You are correct that the proposed location was supported by the
engineering department during the concept review (20152), however, the City must complete its own due diligence in
reviewing and approving your deviation request and must be able to demonstrate to the public the evidence and
rational used in making its decision.

17, 2021 – October 1, 2021. The materials include the public notice for mailing to adjacent property owners, the N2
declaration form, and noticing instructions. The notices will need to be printed by the applicant and placed in the mail by
September 17, 2021. The notice board has also been prepared and is available for pick up at the Front Desk of the
Community Development Department located at 20 E. Olive Street. The notice board must be posted by the end of day,

Lindsey and all,
Please see Karl’s response below in regard to outstanding engineering items for 21165 North Central Block 4 and 21029
North Central MSP. While both of these projects have been sorted out behind the scenes, the department needs a
written response from the applicant and formal submittal of the TIS for our project records. Engineering is open to
suggestions of other ways to accomplish these items, but it is important that these not get lost in the shuffle and that we
can provide all project information and documentation for the public.
On block 4 per my R02 9-8-21 memo on:
1. dry utility easements (or confirmation they aren’t needed more likely)
2. the additional information requested to grant the access deviation.
3. CILWR needs to be paid before formal SP approval
These revisions do not need to submitted as a formal revision, however, engineering would appreciate a response to the
memo and all the info together so we can get this in the file in a logical manner.
On the MSP per my R01 8-23-21 memo
1. I am anticipating a response to the water and wastewater comments.
2. I believe the updated TIS should have a formal response and submittal.

city provided link and was included in our original Site Plan Application as well as the Departure Request last week.

Susana has an additional correction for sheet A.003LevelB1FloorPlan_REVISED 08 24 21.pdf (see attached), which shows
parallel parking spaces (valet parking spots) which block 90-degree parking spaces. Please see Susana’s comments below
(and in reference to Comment 4.k on page 4 of the attached DRC comments) and submit a revised A.0003 drawing, as
well as any other drawings that show or reference valet parking; sheet A.004 for example also appears to show valet
parking. Revised sheets can be emailed to Susana and me.

find discrepancies in the calculation of parking as noted on pages 8 and 9 of the attached amended document. I assume
the Site does not lie within 800 linear feet of a sheltered transit stop. You may reduce the non-residential vehicle
parking requirement due to the additional bicycle parking spaces you provide, per 38.540.050.A.2.c. (6). Thank you.

Susana has an additional correction for sheet A.003LevelB1FloorPlan_REVISED 08 24 21.pdf (see attached), which shows
parallel parking spaces (valet parking spots) which block 90-degree parking spaces. Please see Susana’s comments below
(and in reference to Comment 4.k on page 4 of the attached DRC comments) and submit a revised A.0003 drawing, as
well as any other drawings that show or reference valet parking; sheet A.004 for example also appears to show valet
parking. Revised sheets can be emailed to Susana and me.

I want to clarify the car sharing reduction. I understand that one car share space reduces our residential requirement by
5 spaces. My question is if the car share is included in that reduction or in addition to.
Example: from 20 spaces to 15 spaces. Is the breakdown of those 15 spaces, 14 residential + 1 car share? Or do we need
to have 16 total spaces, 15 residential + 1 car share?
