I am commenting in regards to application 21337 for Bridger Canyon and story mill intersection.
The commission should reject developments in northeast bozeman of this size until adequate road and
emergency capacity is in place. Currently the railroad crossing at Rouse and on east griffin present
significant issues with the existing traffic volume and emergency services, and adding a large scale
commercial and residential project , along with construction traffic, will result in even worse conditions
along these critical roads. It is already difficult to drive for residents of these neighborhoods as well as
patrons of business in the area and the large number of recreation it’s heading to story mill park or up
Bridger canyon drive. These coats for road improvement including a more permanent and safer railroad
crossing should be borne by the developer and the application should not be allowed to proceed until they
agree to this term.
