Hello - I live in the Creekwood neighborhood on Boylan Rd and I am writing to express my opinion on the planned
potential development/zoning of the area on corner of Bridger and Storymill. I do not think this should be zoned foranything other than single family dwellings. My biggest concern is the amount of traffic a high density/retaildevelopment would create. Bridger Dr is not equipped to handle the current amount of traffic and the intersection ofBridger and Storymill is already borderline dangerous and difficult to turn left. The other traffic issue is the lack ofability to get through when a train is present or stopped. My wife and I are both physicians who take call from homeand we already have significant concern that we would not be able to appropriately respond to an emergency at thehospital due to a train being stopped. There is no way for us to get around and I think this issue must be addressedprior to considering any high density housing. In addition I do not think there is any need for retail development onthat site. There is plenty of retail space in the Cannery and in other developments already established alongBridger. If this area is to be developed it should be done with relatively affordable small single family properties tohelp ease our housing issues. Luxury condos are not what locals want or need. I hope that you will consider theseissues prior to approving any projects in the area. Thank you for your time.
