Dear Bozeman City Commissioners
I would like to add my opinion of the Canyon Gate Development on the corner of BridgerDrive and Story Mill Road.
The zoning the developers are requesting is not consistent with the existing neighborhoods
they are asking for too much density on the acreage and do not plan to have any open space.This subdivision is not planned to be family housing but will be sold mostly as luxury second
and third residences with commercial space below them. There is already a planned mixed usecommercial near this area and more planned for the Stockyards.
I grew up in Bozeman I have lived here most of my life and I realize that changes are are part of
living here. However this type of growth does not do anything for our community. In fact, it diminishes everythingthat people live here for. I urge you to deny this zoning request.
