Drukman - Mountains Walking GPA & ZMA 21318 & 21319From:susie drukman To:Agenda Subject:Additional Comment: Applications 21318 and 21319 Date:Thursday, October 28, 2021 10:08:55 AM CAUTION: This email originated from outside of the organization. Susie Drukman 411 North BroadwayBozeman, MT 59715 I previously submitted a letter of protest to the above applications. After viewing the applicants presentation on WebEx on October 25th, I have the following comments, based onwhat the applicants stated in the video meeting: 1. Owners stated they have no intention of expanding brewery production. If that is the case, why do they need a GPA amendment and rezoning? 2. Owners stated they don't have office space on the brewery lot. If that's the case, there wereobvious errors in the building planning process. The owners have created room for a small indoor basketball court in the MW building, so clearly there's room for an office on site. Alternatively, they could have a home office on the R2 lot. 3. Owners stated they want to provide employee housing on the R2 lot. This seems erroneous, as I don't know ANY employees who would want to live with/adjacent to theiremployer (with the exception of some seasonal employees.) 4. Owners stated their existing house is too small for their family. The owners can easily expand their living quarters without rezoning the lot from R2 to B-2M. It seems clear to me that the applications are misleading and intentionally vague. I strongly urge the City Commissioners to deny both applications. Sincerely, Susie Drukman
