Dear Ms Montana and Mr Matsen,
I'm a home owner at 401 Lexington Dr. in Westfield Park. I have many concerns about
the Bozeman CoHousing residential development site plan. Our family has lived inthe neighborhood since 2013.
1) I don't understand why this project is not being required more parking spaces. Even though
they are saying there will be car sharing, it's just not feasible to think they will not have gueststhat will overflow on our community roads and neighborhood streets. Please allow fewer
homes and require more parking.
2) I am VERY concerned about the traffic increase. With 80 or more vehicles coming andgoing from the development, we are going to experience some serious problems at the stop
sign at South 3rd, plus the new 4 way intersection at Concord is going to make this slow, easygoing neighborhood into a busy thoroughfare. What has always been a quiet area is about to
become hectic if you don't make changes.
3) Please amend their project to require investment in bike lanes and side walks. There isabsolutely no excuse for this development to rely on the sidewalks maintained by our HOA.
Fix the problems that will arise BEFORE they begin. Require them to invest in more extensivesidewalks and bike lanes beyond their property.
4) The views that we have all enjoyed for years and years are going to be gone with these
tall buildings and the high density of the plan. The quiet atmosphere we've called our home isgoing to be filled with a lot more noise and activity in this dense community. The heart of
Bozeman lives in our neighborhood, please honor and respect the investments we've all madeand the life we've created by upping the requirement for this project.
