Thanks to WPHA for efforts on our community's behalf regarding the future of this
neighborhood we love. It is most disconcerting that what began as a smaller densitycommunity, (although that was too dense for the area) has ballooned into a colossal invasion
into the peaceful family neighborhood we've enjoyed for over 27 years.
We understand Bozeman's need to accommodate a growing populace, but we have concernsfor the safety of current residents in the Westfield Subdivision, as well as the future residents
of the newly proposed development. ln addition to the Items presented by the WPHA, we areconcerned about what might happen in the event of a fire in the new development. Will there
be enough hydrants? Will there be clear access for fire trucks? Will there be clear evacuationroutes for 50 residences, plus those of us in close proximity?
Additionally, stopped school busses accommodating students from the new development, will
further exacerbate the traffic jams at many intersections in the area. This will also be a safetyconcern for those students and others.
Please take our community's concerns with the seriousness they deserve.
